The fifth encounter of Prophecy has the team travel by foot and Sparrow across a variety of pathways. While the Conflux Team hunts for motes, the Boss Team will be following the Consecrated Mind. It will head down one of those four paths, Front, Back, Left, or Right. Once it reaches the end, the Consecrated Mind will create the Voltaic Overflow effect. In anticipation of this, each team member from the Boss Team needs to have a designated starting and rotational position, and here's why. When the Consecrated Mind creates the Voltaic Overflow effect it will always spawn it in the center. That first center-teammate grabs the effect, and when the Consecrated Mind flashes lights the affected teammate will be able to see either the outer circles or inner circles light up red. The other two destiny 2 heavy metal event 2 Guardians see both sets of lights, so it's up to the Voltaic Overflow teammate to communicate "inner" or "outer" for the correct lights to shoot. The final Boss in Destiny 2's Prophecy dungeon will continue its way down the long row of platforms and must be continuously attacked before it reaches the end. Once the Boss reaches the end of the platform it will teleport out, and the damage phase ends. The setup in the triangular room will need to be repeated in order to return to the damage phase. The most important tip to keep in mind during this phase is that the "Dark Entropy" effect will appear. It will count up to 10, and any player who has Dark Entropy x10 will instantly die. Damaging the Boss enough will prevent Dark Entropy from increasing. Additionally, one of the final Boss's attacks is a large sphere that teleports anyone who gets caught towards the back of the path

At the end of the pathway are two platforms, one emitting dark energy, and the other light. Five light motes and five dark motes must be gathered in order to make the energy signatures disappear. Defeating a Taken Knight in Destiny 2 spawns three motes, so two of the Knights must be defeated in order to get the necessary amount of motes. Once enough of the motes are gathered head to the appropriate energy signature and press the "fire weapon" action to rid the platform of the energy. The Tangled Shore vendors are Spider and Crow, and before Crow can even be accessed the Trail of the Hunted mission on the Moon must be completed. This will officially kick off the events for Season of the Hunt, and afterward, Crow and Spider will both be found in Spider's Lair. Two members of the Conflux Team will head towards the Conflux, while the third looks for a Vex Minotaur that will drop motes once defeated. Grab the motes, and return to the Conflux. Deposit them to temporarily earn the Enlightened buff. This will allow that teammate to defeat the enemies with immune shields. There are only a few of them, they cannot be allowed to reach the Conflux. These Vex Goblins will sacrifice at the Conflux, causing a wipe. As the Enlightened teammate deals with the immune enemies, another is looking for the next Minotaur to grab motes from.
