Adding 3D objects to your WPS slides can significantly enhance the visual appeal and interactivity of your presentations, especially when illustrating intricate systems, gadgets, or architectural plans. WPS Presentation allows you to embed 3D content, enabling users to manipulate them in real time on the slide canvas.

To begin, ensure that your version of WPS Office is up to date, as 3D model support may not be available in older releases. Launch your slideshow and select the target slide. Click the Insert tab in the top toolbar. Look for the 3D Models option, which is typically located in the Illustrations group. Click on it to open a dropdown menu that offers two choices: Online 3D Models and Local File.

For access to a library of public 3D models, pick Online 3D Models. A search panel will appear, letting you enter descriptive terms automobile, edifice, or physiological model. Browse through the results, preview the model, and click Insert to add it to your slide.

If you’ve prepared a 3D file locally, such as in STL format, pick Your Computer. A file browser will open, allowing you to locate and select your file.

After inserting the model, it will appear on your slide with a set of handles around it. Change its dimensions via the bounding handles or reposition it with a simple drag.

To customize the 3D object, select it and enable the 3D Model contextual tab. You’ll gain access to 3D rotation tools for X, Y, and Z axes. Adjust the light source direction and intensity. Alter the reflectivity, roughness, or color shading. Include custom animations for spinning, floating, or cycling movements.

Configure it to animate upon slide transition. Or activate it via a slide hyperlink.

To highlight the model, use a plain or softly shaded background. That avoids visual clutter around the model.

Also, avoid overly detailed or high-polygon assets, as it might reduce performance on low-end systems.

Make sure to run a full rehearsal on your presentation machine to ensure smooth rendering and responsive controls.

With practice, incorporating 3D models into your WPS Presentation slides becomes a seamless way to communicate ideas with greater depth and engagement.
